Baseball
The Brooklyn Tech baseball team
under the direction of Coach Ber–
nard Polan looked to 1966 for a
championship season. The team was
led by the strong pitching of Captain
Vinny D'Onofrio, and seniors John
Mertens, Terry Dundon, Glenn Price
and larry Lanza. Besides pitching,
the Engineers could rely on their
quick infield, sparked by the gloves
of Co-captains Frank Ambrosio and
Kenny laratro. The remaining seniors
on the squad included: John Sheedy,
Richard Petty, AI Pepe, Charles
Whidden, Ralph Favale, Bob Buszko,
Earl Fraser, John Fasano, Joel Kaha–
ner, head manager Joe Sansaverino,
and Jeff Morstein.
