The Longfellows
Just as the adventures and conquests of the Vikings during
the period between the middle of the 8th century and the
beginning of the 13th have made them famous in European
history, the accomplishments of the Longfellows have made
them famous in Tech history.
The Longfellows are men both physically and mentally
capable, just as the Vikings were. The requirements of a height
of 6 feet and an accumulated average of 84% are enough
to alarm any self-respecting Viking. Armed with these weapons
and ably guided by their chieftains, Faculty Advisor Jack
Feuerstein, President Robert Leary, Vice-President Raymond
Delessio, the Longfellows serve as ushers at social and athletic
functions. Through their loyal and unselfish devotion to Tech,
the Longfellows have established themselves as a definite and
integral part of Tech life.
