eight cafeteria workers, in
addition to students.
With the addition of the
hamburger line, Mrs. Elmore
remarked that the choice gives
students a balanced meal for
50 cents or a hamburger for
the same cost. The line keeps
"the kids' participation up
. . . it cuts down on
wastes," she said.
Turkey and dressing. which
requires two days to prepare,
is the most difficult meal
offered in the cafeteria. Menu
changes are made by Mrs.
Elmore when she believes "the
food would be wasted by the
kids."
What is the most popular
meal offered in the cafeteria?
Piua, said Mrs. Elmore,
ranked first in the regular
menu line, and followed
hamburgers in overall
popularity.
