Graphic arts classes

Plate making, press work ,

camera work, paste up and

composition, are taught by Mr.

Fred Cole, graphic arts

instructor. Graphic Arts is a

course in off-set printing.

A total of eight students

from West Monroe High

School, participate daily in a

three-hour instruction. Boys

and girls were presently

enrolled. All Ouachita Parish

High Schools, WMHS,

Ouachita, Calhoun, and

Richwood, are involved.

Students in graphic arts

prepare all printing done for

Ouachita Parish Schools such

as books, brochures, and

teachers roll books. Many

sizes and styles of print can

be used. An advanced course

is offered to students who

would like extra credits, if

they presently hold a job at a

printing company.
