Edrington gets two points!
The team showed much desire and determination in the '65-'66 basketball season. Valley did suffer
disappointment in losing its first DHIT title. One of the high points of the season was the Vikings' loss to
Waggener in a closely fought battle by a last-second shot. Waggener was rated No. 12 in the state.
Valley will have a lot of skill and experience for next year. Four juniors were starters
du~ing
the season.
Valley's regulars were Copass, Ball, Beck, Jones, Harper, and Edrington.
