It is indeed a privilege to congratulate the
members of the Class of
1972
upon their suc–
cessful completion of their hig h s c h o o I pro–
grams . This class has attained a unique rec–
ord , including successful group activities along
with many individua I accomplishments in var–
ious fields of e ndeavor.
As you leave Mountain View , you enter a
confused , complex , and yet challenging 1vorld.
Problems requiring deeper unde rstandin g ,
directed leadership , broader research , and hard
work await you , the leaders and followe rs of
tomorrow . lL is our hope that the experiences whi ch you have undergone 1vhile in school
ha\'e helped prepare you for the tremendous responsibilities which you now undertake .
Friendships were established , subject materials were mastered , activities were enjoyed ,
attitudes were developed , ideal s were created .•• all 1dth the ultimate objective of
being helpful to you in future planning and decision.
