Sao Paulo is a modern lively city compared in construction with the skyscrappers of New York.
The climate is mild throughout the year and snow never flys . The people are either very wealthy
or exceedingly poor. and there seems
to
be no middle c lass as we know it. These people are
lovers of fine foods and great sports, where soccer predominates, and you live on beans and rice.
While in Brazil, I lived with a Portuguese family ,
'-T""'O
Alves Pequeno , in a very modern
high- rise apartment. There were two
s~sters,
and one b1
., along with two maids. The family
taught we many brazilian ways, and we spent much of,
- eping in the sun .
