Each year mock elections are held in which the

student body elects Republican and Democratic can–

didates to office. All students are elfgible to vote and

are required to register in their social studies classes.

After the primary election, a political rally is held in

the auditorium in which the candidates are introduced

to the student body. The general election takes place

on the same day as the city elections. Mr. Koch and

Mr. Camera serve as advisers.
