For the first time thi year our team failed to core. A Bethlehem High
aggregation took the Mounts "over the hurdle in all department to hand
the Mounts their econd lo of the ea on and dim their prospect a Big Fif–
teen hamp . Although each individual fought gamely, the team a a whole
did not click. Krobock, Dudeck, Barkocy, and hulock played exceptional
ball. everal scoring chance were petered away by the Mountaineer .

Again hitting their tride, the Mount gained an impre ive victory over
Mount armel. Maylath, Barkocy, and Dudeck were the sparkplug of the
H. H. . line. Yackanicz and Krobock were the big gun of the backfield. Haz–

6,500 fan braved bitter cold weather to witne s one of the mo t thrilling
conte ts ever taged at the Harman-Gei t tadium. "Pluto" Mope, replacing
Krobock at fullback, did a commendable job. Pai ley, who made a sen ational
61 yard da h for a core, played a beautiful game. "Big Nick" and kitko
wrecked havoc with the Pottsville line. Our great line, in which Dudeck, Bar–
kocy, and hulock tarred, taved off a determined Pottsville rally. The Moun–
taineer ' forward wall, in thi editor's opinion, i the
