Miss Marie Tynan ·

Class Advisors

As members of the graduating class of

June, 1959, we take this opportunity to

extend our thanks and gratitude to Mrs.

Florence Leach and Mr. FredDecker, who,

as our class advisors, have helped us

through our senior year. At all times

they showed great interest and concern in

our problems and activities.

Mrs. Leach was born in Detroit and

attended high school at Northwestern.

Upon graduating she entered Wayne State

University from which she received her

Bachelor of Arts Degree. She came to

Southwestern in September, 1955.

Mr. Decker was graduated from Stout

Institute at Menomonie, Wisconsin, in

1929. He began his teaching career here

at Southwestern. He received his Master

of Arts Degree from Wayne State Uni–

versity in 1938.

We are indeed grateful for the privilege

of having these two wonderful persons

for our class advisors. We wish to

assure them that their understanding and

guidance will long be remembered by us,

the graduating class, as we begin on the

road to adult life .
