'Careless foul' leads to OT where
Lady Rebs fall
" Buckeye is a well-rounded
team. Buckeye' s Kim Polk was
hot in the first half, so we
went into a zone defense
which shut her off in the
second half. However, by a
careless foul we went into
overtime. Again we fouled and
Buckeye won by three,"
commented Coach Ellerman.
After the loss to Buckeye
the Lady Rebs got back on
the right track by defeating
Jonesboro-Hodge 53-47 to
end a 15 game road trip. The
second time around West
Monroe overcame a
turnover-filled third quarter to
down Jonesboro-Hodge 54-48.
