a season
more successful than expected in that it was their first year and they faced a rough sched–
ule. In ten matches and two state tournaments, played over a majority of the Valley's
courses, many respectable rounds were turned in by the team, composed of Port McKinnon,
Phil Schneider, Bob Brazer, Ralph Applegate, Tod Buckman, and Bill Koehler. As none of this
year's team will be graduating until next year and with the addition of new talent next fall,
the prospects for a winning season seem high.
