TOASTMASTER'S CLUB
Following a pattern of last year's Speech Club and the Toast–
master's Club of Scottsdale, the Judson Club was organized
and by-laws drawn up to interest members of the upper
classes in speaking. This year's first President was Harvey
Smith who presided over the meetings and assigned speech–
es. Every member, at one time or another, is called upon to
speak or choose a topic for discussion.
Through the fine efforts of Mr. Nock, our faculty advisor,
the Club has been thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by
all attending . Several guest speakers have attended the
meetings from other organizations throughout the Valley .
Next year's group should be considerably larger, due to the
increase in enrollment.
