Clintonville High School 1953 Yearbook (Clintonville, WI) - Guest Access

DEDICATION Much of the success of a play is due to the faithful work of those be– hind the scenes-the stage managers and technicians the coaches and di– rectors that never stand behind the footlights to receive the flowers and hear the applause of the audience. It is with this thought that we of the class of 1953 dedicate this Clin– wauwis to Mr. Walter T. Rohm, who came to Clintonville High School seventeen years ago after being graduated from Carroll College. Mr. Rohm has remained here since then, faithfully helping to coach our football teams and supervising the intramural basketball games. Each spring he can be seen on the athletic field, his crew cut bobbing here and there as he stirs the track team to action. In all of his extra-curricular activities, Mr. Rohm has consistently given his best. Mr. Rohm has taught a variety of subjects since he came to Clinton– ville High, but is remembered most by the class of '53 as the teacher of freshman social studies and German. We shall long remember his familiar "macht schnell"-just a reminder if our performance in class slowed down. We hope that this dedication may express in part our appreciation of the advice and guidance he has given us during our drama of high school life and serve as part of the applause due to a faithful worker and friend.
