Clintonville High School 1953 Yearbook (Clintonville, WI) - Guest Access

Shakespeare once said, "I hold the world but as the world .... A stage where every man must play a part ... " Yes, all the world is a stage and each of us has a part to play in the great drama called Life. The curtain is about to fall on the final act of our first performance, the drama of high school life. The success of this pro– duction can be found in the hearts and on the smiling faces of the members of the class of 1953 as they cross the platform to receive their diplomas on commencement day and in the memories found between the covers of this Clinwauwis. We were the stars of this production. We stood in the spotlight. But our parents and teachers were the ones who coached and prompted us when we muffed our lines and let us bow to the audience during the curtain calls and receive their plaudits while they remained silently but proudly in the wings. To them we express our sincerest gratitude and appreciation. To our understudies, the future grades of C. H. S., we leave this message: ' Learn your lines well, don't miss your cues, project your per– sonalities, get into character. From now on the stage is yours. Enjoy your debut as we have, and play your part well. May the part you play in this drama of high school life bring you the success and pleasant mem– ories it has given the seniors of 1953." Thr
