Truckerettes is an organization formed by a great group of gals to get behind the student body and try to push out their pep. A few weeks after school started the Truckerettes held their organizational meet– ing to appoint their officers. Those elected were: president, Helen Bovee; vice-president, Helen Perkins; secretary-treasurer, Judy Cooper; corresponding secretary, Beverly Be– low. The advisors were Miss Haasch and Mr. Cismoski. Weren't the Homecoming dance decora– tions beautiful? The Truckerettes helped add to that beauty. Plenty of hard work and time was contributed by the girls to that big festivity as they also decorated the queen's car and the goalposts and sold those swell "Eeat Kaukauna" pins. During the year the Truckerettes put on pep skits for the different sports. Will we ever forget the "Mortgage on the Cow" skit given by the seniors on pep day? The girls had a big party this winter and it certainly was a huge success. You know what they say about women. When they get together it's like a lot of hens clucking. But it surely was fun! Another big job of the Truckerettes is to purchase the trophies to be presented to the most improved football and basketball play– ers of the year on award day. This event brought to a conclusion the fourth successful year for the Truckerettes organization. Sixty-five
