Managers
Perhaps the most overlooked indivi–
duals on an athletic team are the man–
agers. They are the boys who line the
football field, dean basketballs, shag foul
balls, and rake the track. Whenever a
situation arises, they are always there to
help out. They are the ones who, to the
coach, act as secretary, messenger, and
general handy-man. And to the players
they are the "work horses" who keep the
equipment in order and the uniforms clean.
After a very successful year in athletics
Shelton high school students should give
credit to the managers for their valuable
assistance to che sport teams of 1950-51.
