Remember the days of the Muppets, Captain Kangaroo and the Smurfs? They were days never to be forgotten because they were our days. Our generation faithfully watched the Dukes of Hazard, went into a frenzy over the Cabbage Patch Kids and imitated the styles and moves of the "material gir1," Madonna. It was a time that was too good to be true. Our lives have always revolved around school. • Interactions with our peers, participation in activities and the exL.....~:::::ii~:..._ _ _j cit em en t of the social life all were proof that school was not simply reading, writing, arithmetic and just doing what was due. High school was a diversified learning experience that shaped us into responsible and mature individuals. As young adults, we became more aware of the problems in our world.
