We were greeted by Mrs. Brown, our first grade teacher. We started that year with twenty students. The next year we had Mrs. MacDougall for our teacher. Of the students that started with us, we lost Robert Bennett and Clyde Jackson. This was the start of losing students and, as you can see, we had a steady decline. We did, however, gain students along the way too. That year we gained Duane Curran, Richard DeRemer, Richard Hebda, and Shirley Hayner. In third grade we were divided into two groups with Mrs. MacDougall teaching one group and Mrs. Nieman the other. Going into third grade we found ourselves . without Richard DeRemer, William Pulsifer, George Traver, Iva Derby, Shirley Hayner, Duane Curran, and Ronald Crispell. Mrs. Nieman was our teacher in fourth grade. William Corby, Kenneth Millard, Shirley Hayner, and Gypsy Traver joined us in fourth grade. Our aext year we had Mrs. Austin for our teacher. We gained Clayton Cook, Cleatus Hoyt, arid Janice Apaliski. In the sixth grade we were really tops. We were the oldest group in the grade school building. Mrs. Austin was still our teacher. We went into sixth grade with– out Richard DeRemer, Janice Apaliski, and Florence Newhart. We gained Clyde Jackson and Mary Lou Carpenter. Now we took a big step in our career; we came into the high school. Miss Ohlman was our home room teacher. This year we picked up Bernard and Harold Wetzel, Virginia Evans, and Jane Jackson.
