Gordy filled .in exceptionally well for center George Mazur, who was injureJ during the first half of the league season. Even though the current season was good, Coach Shook is looking forward to a still better showing in next year's campaign. He will be relying on the bight of John Poder, John Kizis and Gordon Williams, and on the playmaking abilities of John Mul– hall, Thomas Lloyd, and Robert Checkele. Coach Tom Christian's scrub team had an impressive record this year, one slightly better than that of the varsity. The scrubs played an inspired type of ball at all times during the season and they found that this practice paid off in victory almost always. Many fine players were developed from this team this season, and these boys will be eligible for league competition next year on the scrub team.
