Jack Jones, Head Coach Olie Thornaa, Assistant Coach ·'Corky" Tarnbur "Skip" Dare Bobby Werta Billy Yeornana Our football team, the newly nicknamed "Rams," had a notably successful season, winning all ten games and setting a new 10-game state scoring record of 487 points. The "Rams" charged into the first game against Shickshinny and scored a 62-0 win. Tommy Evans led the nine-touchdown parade with three scores. A crack defensive team held Shickshinny to minus forty yards. We gained our second win at the expense of Dallas Township, 68-0. Nick Volpetti paved the way with three touchdowns as we made our highest score. The "Rams" traveled to Wyoming ~~~fl.o.t game and scalped the "Redskins," 40 and Bernie Sheridan each scored twice. The Green and White rolled over the ' West Wyoming, 43-0. Bernie Wierbowsk Lepore each tallied 13 points. In our closest game of the sea fighting Pittston Eleven, 27-12.
