Hello again from the Hol– ly'wood of Northeastern Penn– sylvania - West Pittston! Our column this issue will be cen– tered on the understudies for the featured players. As you all know, not everyone can be famous at the same time, but as the Senior sun sets on the horizon, the underclassman moon beams all the brighter. Their deeds promise to be spec– tacular. The movie camera now focuses on the up-and-coming talent in Junior High SchooL An especially fine performance was the Harvest Hoe-down, which was presented for the November P. T. A. Thenar– rator was Raymond Crisci. We all enjoyed the vocal talent displayed by Ronald Rogers, Richard Hines, Nancy Weimer, and June Ardoline. Sylvia Vincent played the marimba, and Eugene Manganello, the accordion. Next in the line of enter– tainment was the Christmas program, narrated by Sandra Deitrick. Solos were sung by Mary Ann Wharen and Gail Krise. The latter also played the piano in a piano-organ duet with Miss Fear. The underclassmen have been very active in producing chapel entertainment. This year, Betty Lou Simonson sang, Steve Salvaggio played the ac– cordion, Bobby Barnhart gave a star performance on the vi bra– harp, and Helen Marinello strummed the ukelele while singing "Down the Trail of Aching Hearts." 35 Attention, Mr. and Mi~ West Pittston, and all the hot– rods on Wyoming Avenue!
