There– fore, teachers concentrated upon improv– ing students' speaking ability, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. Audio-visual aids and varied reference material in– creased students' attention and interest in all classes. Text books, compositions, speeches, and themes combined to produce accomplished linguists. Through the use of the language laboratory, scholars be– came proficient in the use of French and Spanish. Exerting great influence, the fac– ulty made students aware that a ·olid edu– cation is the basis of effective communica– tion. Educators emphasize i\IATH Ai\ D CIE ICE Men of science and math hope to open the door to better living through re– search. The faculty stressed the importance of mastering the basic fundamentals of all scientific subjects. Projects, experiments, and problems challenged the students' abil– ity to think. Bringing knowledge and ex– perience to the classroom, school person– nel aroused students' desire for scientific progress. Insisting upon good study habits, faculty members helped pupils to achieve maximum educational growth. Scholars, capitalizing upon good Leaching, were pre· pared for a successful future.
