Looking ahead into the future, Coach Paul Polink gave his underclassmen valuable game experience during the 1960 cage season. After trying the boys at various positions, Mr. Polink floored the following quintet: George "Moose" Rohaley, center; J ames Green and Ronald Ma– leta, forwards; George Staples and William Shaw, guards. Being tall, Rohaley not only out– jumped many opposing players at center but at the backboards for rebounds. Green and Staples hit the basket with deadly accuracy. Both Ma– leta and Shaw performed well offensively and defensively. Reserves, Myron Manzuk and Marion Turner, proved to be valuable. In tight situations, each member displayed ability and good sportsman– ship. Baby Hawks posted 6-4 record for '61 cage season.
