ROW THREE: Depto, Capriotti, Sepkovic, Skovran, Harris, "Los Amigoes", sponsored by Mr. Jos– wick, is a suitable name for the Spanish Club which aims to keep alive the friendly spirit that characterizes the Spanish speaking people. They spread a little of this friendly atmosphere by presenting "A Night on Mexican Tele– vision" at the Christmas assembly. On February 18, 1961, the club were guests of Dick Blanchard Bandstand on WTAE Channel 4. Thrilled by the Top Teen Artists presenting their latest hits, senoritas left Bandstand floating on Cloud Nine. The Latin Club, under the direction of Mrs. Farro, endeavored to make the '60 Christmas season merry for school, home, and community. Club members designed Christmas cards inscribed with Latin verses for local hospital patients and Redstone faculty. Entertaining the patients at the Brownsville and Uniontown hospitals, the group sang carols in Latin and in English. At Uniontown, they distributed toys to children. They made the aged at the Fayette County Home feel the spirit of Christmas. Cherban, Torrey, Canavan, Maglas. ROW FOUR: Ono, Cost– mato, Bidish, Kaiser, Novotny, Muurek, Rosneck, DeMasse. ROW FTVE: Zacovic, Steeber, Check, Foley, Zellie, Calloway. DiLuzio. SPANISH CLUB Eye-pleasing sombreros and lively music depict the colorful life of the Spanish. Language club members and Mr. Joswick enjoy cultural musical contributions of the Spaniards.
