At Christmas time, the chorus captured the audience's interest as they sang with deep feeling the traditional carols, "The Lord's Prayer," " Twas the Night Before Christmas," "We Wish You A Merry Christmas," and the popular "Drummer Boy." During the second semester, the senior chorus concentrated on commencement numbers. The Glee Club mastered the very difficult number Bach-Gounad's "Ave Maria;"a feat the previous classes had failed to accomplish. Their rendition of this number at Commencement was flawless.
