Early in the fall, many par– ticipate anew in vanow; er.:ra– curricular activities. Redsto:le comes to life! E nthusiasucally, clubs reorganize, initiate new members, and select officers for the year. At Redstone, there is an activity to suit each student. Stimulated by the brisk autumn air, cheerleaders stage lively pep rallies. Marches, pol– kas, and pop tunes echo through the air vents from the band room and set many a foot in the classrooms marking time. In– fused with the old school spirit, the student body cheers the Black H awks on to victory. This year two new groups were organized, the Rifle and the D ebate clubs. Time rushes on, those with literary tastes buckle down to meet newspaper and yearbook deadlines. Sometimes t h i n g s grow hectic, but the groups manage. They beam with pride when work is completed. At Christmas, Redstone glows with the seasonal spirit. Tri-Hi– y and Hi-Y lend a helping hand to the needy. Girls dream of waltzing with their Prince Charming at the "Sno-Ball Fes-– tival." F inally spring arrives. T he climax of our tale draws near. Class parties dominate the scene. With graduation, the Class of '61 write finis to their happy story. Silently each thank Redstone for the opportunity to mature gracefully.
