In her many years as a math teacher at O)R, Mrs. Detwiler made it clear that young people and school life were important to her. She enjoyed teaching and liked the Owen ). students. She and her husband Frank were fre– quently seen at sports events, class plays, and musicals. At various times Mrs. Detwiler served as high school representa– tive to the Roberts Education As– sociation and as REA treasurer.
