For those who are not familiar with Mr. Poley's desk, there among the debris lies the Memory Bank, better knows as "the cancer jar." Though its or~ginal purpose was to imporve the memory of those who have the habit of forgetting their books, the jar has gained popu– larity and is virtually the mascot of the physics classes. Due to the generosity and/or forgetfulness of this year's classes, the fund (whose proceeds go to cancer research or Mr. Poley's new car, whichever you choose to believe) had exceeded last year's total before Thanksgiving. The physics students hope that this(ear's higher contribution will lead to the mclusion o their effort in Wrigley's Fun Facts and contribute to a speedy cure for cancer.
