We soon learned to Forget the mud when our sore muscles stretched to the limit. But track isn't all work; one day we hid on Mr. Bigler, never expecting that he'd jump on us when he found us. If the pool water would have been any colder we could have been an ice hockey team. These conditions led to a shortened season and the team's disappointment. Despite this, it was a good year for the swimmers. What their record does not show is the outstanding individual efforts which brought them great notoriety.
