varsity football FIRST ROW: jeff Dawson, Gary Whitlatch, John Bilyk, Drew Rogers, Bill Reisdorf, Bill Nesley, Dale Cook, Scott Schutz, Steve Hutt, Dave Headly, Dean Cook, Ed Wallace. Football started with hot August practices. It was a season of not go– ing to camp, but getting in shape just as well; winning big in two scrimmages, but dropping the opener to Wilson. The Wildcats came back to win their first league game, as well as whipping the Spring-Ford team who beat them in ninth grade. Later, they surprised everyone by almost upsetting the number one team.
