And how we beamed b au e everal of our member took part in it production! ( f cour e, we participated in variou port . ome of our girl , e pecially, provided u with fond m morie by helping the hockey team to win the champion hip that year. By the time the Gym Exhibition came along, we were in good form and carried away the third prize in the float conte t. The foJlowing year, a ophomore who had b en duly te ted and tried, we re umed our cia actJVJtle. omewhat more nonchalantly. A group of new member , mo t of them from Trevo c, received a very hearty wei ome from u . We were more than delighted to see our cia xpanding. Under the practiced guidance of Mi ammon, l\1r . trattan, and )1r. Iaven, we plung d into the immediate work on hand– that of cla organization. One long look into the future revealed the fact that we had to lay plan for important undertaking . That revelation al o meant that we needed a wen- tocked trea ury. Cla due proceed d to fill our money bag . That year proved to be very intere ting but hort, with the spot-light on our undefeated football team. Ye , everal boy from our cla helped to make thi po ible. When we returned the following year, we w rc greeted by :\[i Frantz, Mr . Strattan, and ~lr. Hege, who guided u through a ucce • ful Junior ear. Ah! Remember the opening of the new wing to our chool? How delighted we were with the two additional cla room ! Our fir t dance, the Junior Prom, proved to be an out tanding ucce . How could it be otherwi e when we named it " erenade in the now" and had Art Hughe and hi wonderful orche tra to provide the erenade ? Another memorable event wa in tore for u - the football champion hip for the year. Walt mith, elected a the ••An County" player for that year, a wen a evera] other cla . mate , helped to bring home the laurel . ext came the chool play, Hook, Line, and inker. Florence Arrow, Myron Mattock and Alex Martin helped to make t his comedy a fine production. •·Remember When", the Junior sport dance, rounded out our year' actJVlhe and really brought back old memories. A "The Senior ",a title which impre ed u a much a it did the lower cla es, we began our final year in high chool. Our fir t big thrill wa the arrival of our cla rings, which created quite a stir or excitement among our friend . We, too, were omewhat dazzled by them. Our cla s advisor , Miss Frantz and Mr. Hege, capably guided us through the maze of activitie . Fir t on the list was "Harvest Time", our sport dance. No one needs to rack hi memory to remember what fun we had at thi fir t dance of the season. Another big event of the year was the enior play, The Red Spider, which was an exciting combination of thrilling mystery and hilariou comedy. Ably directed by Mr. Mc– Cormick, thi uccessful venture also increa ed the jingling ounds in our treasury. The football team again came through with flying colors-the winner of the 1950 Lower Buck County Champion hip. The cla of '51 i very proud of its con– tribution toward thi achievement. In April, we gave our undivided attention to the Wa hington trip. The all-too-brief but wonderful time we had in that hi toric city ha left an indelible impre ion upon us. La t came our long-awaited Senior Prom - a magic evening of dancing, mu ic, and light– hearted gaiety. Through the years, we will look back with p]ea ure to the e eventful year and re– member the cla mate from whom we have parted. Now, however, we look hopefully and with re olution to the future a we undertak our new role in life.
