Butch's shocked expression helps to convey the awful news that Miss Pearl (Vir– ginia Burkhalter) bas just been killed. Mr. McCormick's excelle nt direction of the Senior Play placed it on our list of " hits." Here he gives us last-minute advice during dress rehearsal. SEDIOR CLASS PLAY THE HAUNTED HIGH SCHOOL Eagle High School seems to be just like any other school until three murders are committed. When the pupils take over the duties of the teachers during Youth Day, the fun really begins. Their attempts to hnd the murderer lead them into both dangerous and hilarious situations until one of the pupils bnngs the criminal to justice. The play contained a satisfying combination of comedy, mystery and romance . The cast actually enjoyed all the work involved in presenting the play and were rewarded by the enthusiastic response of the audience. Ambrose Gile11 (Donald Maurer gasps for breath and tenderly maasages an aching throat after an intruder's unsuccessful attempt to choke him. Clarence Arliss (Wayne Engle) tells Butch in no uncer– tain Ierma that he won't take the part of janitor during Youth Day.
