62 MANY SCHOOL RESPONSIBILITIES "The meeting will please come to order." These words of President Paul Waddell were used many times this year to open Student Senate meetings. This year the Student Senate was more active than it has been in the past. During the fall, when the conduct at our dances became a problem, the Student Senate, with co-operation of the class officers and National Honor Society, solved the problem. The Student Senate also donated money to "Care" and sponsored a very successful clothing campaign for The Save the Children Federation. Aided by Mrs. Reiser, the Student Senate had a very successful year.
