In order to join Prisma, a girl must sell at least three magazine subscriptions in the annual fall magazine drive. The money which is raised from this drive is used for scholarships for graduating members of the club. Prisma sponsors the Sweet– heart Swirl together with Key Club each year in February. Joseph Modica Kingston High School's Key Club is a service organization for boys sponsored by the local Kiwanis Club. The Key Club motto is "We build"; the club builds for justice, liberty, democracy, and a better world. Key Club is a driving force, developing the leadership for tomorrow while it creates a better high school today. The club assists in the annual Library Drive, the Kiwanis Capers, and co-sponsors the Sweetheart Swirl with Prisma.
