D .E.C.A., the Distributive Education Clubs of America, is a nationwide organization established to enable its members to learn the necessary elements in modern retailing. This year K.H.S.'s D.E.C.A. took three trophies for first place and one for second place at the regional conference, February 23, at Tappan Zee. Business Club was first organized in 1951. The purposes of the dub were and still are to bring students together in the commercial department, to teach them good business habits, and to give them a sense of responsibility. This year the Business Club opened a new store called the Y·Go·Buy Shop, which operated during all of the lunch periods. The members also held a Cake Sale, which proved to be very profitable.
