Mr. Fitzmaurice, although in hi• first year 1::1. J1t; ourth straight yea., usually placing more than coaching, led the K.~.S. Harri~rs ~o ,~noth~r ba~ner,e.~;;;_ seven men in the first ten. We also won the DUSO year. Led by Captam Dave Ch1p Enms, Kmg-~ ..... ~ .and Section ine meets for the second year in a ston remained undefeated in dual competition for' h A~ow placing five runners in the first eight in the 128 ~ / ~USO and five in the first nine in the Section. The ~ Harriers missed second place in the State meet Chip Ennis leading his team to the State Meet and to new K.H.S. records. by one point even with the lo~s of one of our top runners because of a fall on the slick course. Chip Ennis and George Brocco took second and fourth places respectively in. the Class A competition. Next year we will suffer the loss of Chip Ennis, who broke Rusty Peterson's 1957 record with a new mark of 10:58.
