Football With the return of several lettermen from la t ear' quad to form a olid nucleu the K.H.. Football Team appeared to be headed for a winning sea on despite it tough chedule. Thi became more apparent in our fir t two game when we beat uffern High hool 21-0 and Alban High chool 19-7 on the defen i e effort of linebacker Ed Mill and the fine offen i e pla of quarterback Paul Gruner and fullback Tom Aurinaer. THE TIDE T R In our third game we pia ed on even term ' ith White Plain for three quarter before uccumbing to their powerful offen e 34-0. It wa in thi game that we di overed t\ o ' eakn which plaau d u for the re t of the ea on. We had a poor pa de– fen e and our offen ' a unable to mov the ball. Our fir t leaaue aame wa with Pouahke p ie and we battled to a 7-7 tie.
