Chieftan This year, the annals of Mahopac High continued to be recorded In the four Issues of Chleftan that were published throughout the school year. Each Issue was the proud result of the devotion of the staff editors, trained at journa· lism workshops conducted during meetings. Special recognlton goes to Editor Bea Hartman and Asst. Ed. Anne Regan for the hours they spent on layouts and rewrites. The paper serves the student body by publishing relevant, objective news stories, and thought-pro· voklng editorials. It also provides an opportunity for any student to acquire basic journalistic skill and to participate In the publishing of a newspaper. 139
