The ski team diligently worked out after school In the universal gym, lifting weights, running stairs, and doing Intervals In the sets. Women's lib has caught up with the girls on the ski team this year. The girls have their own league. The first-string girls will have a chance to compete in all county and state ski races. Mahopac held all its meets at Birch Hill this year. There were twenty-four different schools racing In the same area. Mahopac competed in Slolom, Cross Country, and Grant Slolom races. This year the High School Bowling Team did particularly well. They are members of the Northern Interscholastic Bowling League that meets on Tuesdays and Thurs· days during the winter season at Cortland Lanes. Team standouts were captain Tony Alosco who held second high average In the league with a 171.8. Tony was named to the seven man all-star team which meets in the spring.
