Poor fielding and wi ld pitching contributed to the first losses. After a one run victory over Frankfort and a six– teen run defeat of Bainhrjdge-Cuilford, the team started to live up to their early season potential. A th irteen game winning streak carried the team to a tie for the league crown wi th orwich.
