Language for For years, if a student wished to study a foreign language, he was expected to do so by memorizing lists of verbs. However, this is no longer true. Now th'e first year of each course emphasizes oral mastery, while literature and composition are covered in the following years. With the new method come new aids for the language teachers, such as phono– graph records, tape recordings, and micro– phones, in addition to visual aids. All of these help to make the language easier and more meaningful to the student. Students benefit through the use of the language lab.
