20 Mr. David Kidd, principal . Administrators Have L The administrators are the backbone of our school. Together, they try to run the school as smoothly as possible, sharing an equal responsibility for its manage– ment. They have the same goal: the im– provement of Central. To achieve this goal, the duties of the administration must be distributed. Mr. Kidd, principal, is the co-ordinator of all school functions. His main objective is to establish a setting of "peaceful co– existence" throughout the entire school. Mr. Lewis, vice-principal of the academic building, has the responsibilities of dis– tributing textbooks and supervising as– semblies, among other things. Mr. Berry, vice-principal of the technical wing, screens new students for the technical program, and also serves as the official guide to the tech building. Mr. Haws is the Director of Vocational and Technical Education for the city of Syracuse. Prob– lems arising in the tech building are un– der the jurisdiction of Mr. Haws . Mr. Alfred Lewis, vice-principal, talks with Joan Quinlan .
