RIFLE CLUB The Rifle Club was organized by Mr. LaPierre, who is faculty advisor and coach of the team. Through his cooperation it has grown until now it exceeds half a hundred members, who are interested in competitive marksmanship. Two meetings a week are held, one for girls and one for boys. At these meetings they all have a lot of fun shooting and comparing scores, while at the same time they are learning the correct handling of firearms. The club owns four rifles, two of which are regulation match rifles, paid for with money made by the selling of ammunition and targets. Last June the club was represented at the County Rifle Tournament by six members of the boys' squad who had attained an average of ninety per cent accuracy.
