THE STUDENT COUNCIL This group is elected by the students of North High. They discuss and take action upon the problems that concern the students. Many such problems have been debated upon and action has been taken. The Student Council is the executive body of the Student Association and is elected every term. This year the Council has acquired new democratic privileges. The advisors cannot participate or vote in the meetings, but the principal has the power of veto. The Council is doing its utmost to preserve these newly acquired powers.
