Probably the most important organization in the school is the Student Coun- cil, since through it the students can take part in the running of the school. Each year the members of Student Council with the assistance of Mr. J. Tl<aczow and Mrs, E. Robinson strive to promote harmonious relations throughout the entire school, provide a forum for student expression, and improve school morale. During the year Student Council has been unusually active in our own school and also in getting together with members of Stu- dent Councils of other schools. In the fall they participated in the Inter- scholastic Association of Student Councils and during the spring Student Council sent two delegates to the Annual Student Council Convention in Syracuse. Around our own school they met every other Tuesday to discuss the latest school problems. This year Student Council worked on a School Improvement Campaign and raised more money for the organ which is to be put in the auditorium. These are only a few of the many worthwhile activities of our Student Council which has served us faithfully during the year. As a result of these activities our high school days have been made increasingly more pleasant and inspiring. 61
