J. Horney, M. Bradley, D. Perry, D. Almy, J. Houser, J. Ashcroft, J. Eaton, R. Fyfe, R. Flynn, K. Jackson, R. Robertson. SEATED: Mrs. Lawrence, advisor. The Merit Club, under the direction of Mrs. Lora Lawrence, is made up of Boy Scouts in- terested in receiving merit badges in citizen- ship. Each member works at his own speed, ful- filling the requirements as rapidly as his abili- ties allow. Each project is carefully examined and checked when it is completed. When all requirements are met satisfactorily, the Coun- selor approves the application of the Scout and he is then ready to meet the Board of Review in his Scout Troop to receive his Merit Badge. Radio Club In this age of atomic and electronic wonders eves's Radio Club has attempted to interest scientifically minded boys whose interests seem headed towards these areas . The Radio Club has weekly meetings at which time topics of interest to the ' 'Ham" operata: are dis- cussed. Problems common to the ' 'Ham" radio enthu- siast the world over receive attention. Activities in the radio wcxld are on the weekly agenda. Membership consists of Mr . Himmel, ad- visor, F. Hillen, D. Robinson and B. Hancock. Rodeo W inners Competing against other schools in the annual driving Rodeo, Chenango Valley emerged victcxious in all events . To CeCe Marino and Steve James, and their excellent driving instructors, Mr. Milo DeCastro and Mr. Robert McDaniels their awards represent the skill and good judgment needed for all automobile operators . 56
