This is the first program of 1fs kmd in Broome County. The program is designed so that deaf students con lead o fairly normal school life, attending regular classes with their own interpreters, Mr. Ken Cobb and Mrs. lola Kaminsky. They work toward meeting Regents Competency Test requirements and receiving a high school dip– loma. They also receive special instruction in the areas of language, and auditory skills. Many hearing students have token o class enabling them to commun1cate w1th the deaf through sign language. Windsor's program brings deaf students into the mainstream of life. Tina checks out the situation in the back of the room. The future is in the hands of the present. It's in my notes somewhere!
