VARSITY SOCCER It was a tight race all season among the four leading S.T.A.C. soccer teams and in the final tally M-E's hooters were only one point away from first place Ithaca. The finely coached and hard-working team had a large percentage of juniors who will surely return next year to keep ME in conten– tion for the 1969 Conference Championship. Highly praised goalie, Marc Zdimal, Ken Winterstein, Bob Oarey, and Jim Dunning were named to the S.T.A.C. All-Star Team. Two others, Ken Boras and Al Mihelic, were named to the Second Team. By the end of the season the Soccer Spartans had racked up eight victories, an unusual three ties, and only one loss.
