VARSITY WRESTLING ROW 1: R. Begeal, D. Haskins, K. Stanton, M. Tedeschi, L. Russell, D. Mills; ROW 2: G. Nightingale, R. Brennan, J. Briggs, G. Amendola, V. Quattrocchi, C. Faulkner The Deposit Varsity Wrestling team became Pioneer League Champions for the second consecu– tive year. The league record was six wins and no losses; This undefeated record decided the cham– pionship. Acting as host to the Pioneer League for the tournament, the wrestlers were glad to receive their trophy at home. The tournament champion– ship was close, but the Lumberjacks won by three points at the end . One of the highlights of the season was a one– point victory over Wind sor, supposed ly the second strongest power in Section IV.
